many categories
there are a number of categories of swine flu victims.
first and foremost they think kids get it easily because they do not have the immunity as older folks do.
however, the reaction of kids varies by their immune systems.
kids with over active immune systems from neuro disorders such as autism
can have all sort of problems.
the vast majority of deaths are in kids with over active immune systems
from neuro disorders, period, like over 95 percent.
this is not to be confused with kids who have a strong or healthy immune system.
in a normal kid or adult that is what you want, a strong immune system.
for example, kevin took vitamins and ate shittake mushrooms and other
immune building foods.
Kevin may have gotten the virus but fought it off.
a strong immune system is good.
you can’t get an over active immune system from vitamin C or shittake mushrooms.
you only get a strong immune system.
there is a difference.
kid’s with autism have crazy immune systems, period.
poor Trey had the vulnerability to the virus from his age,
and a vulnerability to the disease from his asthma.
so, what about old people and the virus?
ironically, old people have more immunity from the virus than kids, but once
they get it, they are at high risk of complications.
that is due to a variety of problems already associated with old age,
such as breathing problems and high blood pressure.
all of these categories and sub categories are confusing to many, and I
don’t blame them.
as with all flus, some people who are at low risk from the virus
and the disease have complications
and die anyway!
at this point, we still don’t know for sure what will happen next.
heck, I just saw a box of cocoa puffs which said that cocoa puffs
builds kids’ immune systems.
by the way, while all this is going on, I just scheduled my shingles vaccine.
not only did father get shingles and suffer, but I have had friends my age get it.
I had to wait until I turned 60 to get it.
it is not 100 percent effective, but man oh man,
after seeing Pop suffer so badly, and
after my horrible bout with chicken pox as a kid,
I want it!
